When your eyes are bigger than your stomach, and that single seat you've booked for your return flight simply won't do.
Eating Our Way Across Paris
The mere mention of Paris brings feelings of love and light to countless around the globe. Paris is full of beautiful scenery, a rich culture and it’s steeped in history difficult for us North Americans to wrap our heads around. There’s a palpable vibe there that simple words can’t do justice, but can be summed up by “experience it for yourself, so you truly understand” magic to Paris. It’s no surprise that Paris has more yearly visitors than any other city in the world.
So what did we take away from our recent visit?
PARIS. IS. DELICIOUS.
Sadly for us there wasn’t enough time in each day, over our week-long trip, to eat everything our appetite’s desired. We also had to fit in 2 day trips and other cultural sites (said tongue in cheek, of course). Sad kittens.
BUT we did manage to stuff ourselves silly and were left with a burning desire (and raging appetite) to return to Paris, the City of Get In Our Bellies. Hopefully sooner, than later!
What deliciousness did we enjoy during our trip? Unsurprisingly, we made a list of the foods we wanted to eat while there and spent our days checking items off. Everything from creme brûlée to steak tartare to baguettes to almost too-pretty-to-eat desserts – oh my!
Our holiday officially began at the Montreal airport, where our flights met – and we were left with several hours to catch up. And eat and drink, naturally!
